PEACE DubaiEducation & ExcellenceSummit

An initiative by Peace Education Services to put school managements, principals, educators and the organisations that supply them in one room — to compare notes, show work, and decide some things together rather than one school at a time.

The initiative

Not a service. A room.

Peace Education Services is a services firm. The thirteen things we do are on the solutions pages, and each one is bought by a single school for a single reason. The summit is not one of them. It is the room those schools would be better for sharing, and it is the one thing on this site a school cannot commission — only attend.

The idea came out of the same conversations that built the firm. In Dubai alone, hundreds of private schools teach seventeen curricula to families from a hundred and eighty-five nationalities, and the questions in every principal's office are almost identical: how do we hold on to the teachers we have, what do we actually do about AI, what will the next inspection cycle expect, and how do we do any of it at a fee parents can carry. Each school answers those alone, at a cost nobody has ever added up.

So we are convening a day: managements, principals, academic leaders, and the institutions, publishers and technology firms that serve them. Sessions with a working outcome rather than a keynote, a curated exhibition floor, and recognition given on published criteria. The programme, the venue and the date are being worked on now — and we would rather publish nothing than publish a date we then have to move.

Connecting educational leaders. Inspiring excellence. Building a better future.

A convening floor sized so a principal can walk all of it
Dubai: 227 private schools, 17 curricula, one conversation worth having in person

Key highlights

What the day is made of.

Five parts, as set out in the invitation. Each one exists because a school leader asked for it in a conversation we were sitting in.

  • School management gathering

Managements and educational leaders from across Dubai in one room — the people who actually sign decisions, given the time to compare how they made them.

  • Educational programmes

Sessions on values, leadership, innovation, character building and the role of a school in the society around it — practitioners first, and evidence over slides.

  • Exhibition and stalls

A curated floor of institutions, publishers, suppliers and solution providers, sized so a principal can walk all of it and still make the afternoon session.

  • Award ceremony

Recognition for schools, managements, educators and leaders — decided against criteria published before entries open, because an award nobody can audit is worth nothing to the school that wins it.

  • Networking and collaboration

The part of any summit that actually changes something: introductions between schools that share a problem, and between schools and the people who can solve it.

The market

Why Dubai, and why now.

None of the numbers below are ours. They are what the authorities, the ministry and the research published about this market — and together they are the argument for getting the people who run schools here into one room.

  • 227

    private schools in Dubai

Teaching 387,441 students across 17 curricula, with families from 185 nationalities. One city, carrying more curricular variety than most countries.

  • KG–12

    AI taught as a subject

The UAE introduced artificial intelligence into the public-school curriculum from kindergarten to Grade 12 from the 2025-26 academic year — project-based, with no written examination. Announced on 4 May 2025.

  • 3,000

    Emirati teachers by 2033

One target inside Dubai's Education 33 strategy — five goals and 28 initiatives, alongside 49,000 additional affordable school seats and a tenfold increase in education tourism.

  • 2026-27

    inspections return

KHDA resumes quality-assurance visits to Dubai private schools from the 2026-27 academic year, with as little as 24 hours' notice — a shorter runway than most improvement plans assume.

  • 2

    countries, one conversation

India and the UAE signed an education memorandum with a joint working group; IIM Ahmedabad opened a Dubai campus with its first MBA in September 2025, and IIFT is establishing one at Expo City. The corridor this firm already works along is becoming institutional.

The calendar

Where this sits in the calendar.

Dubai already has serious education events, and a principal only has so many days. So here is the honest placement, with the two you should know about first. We are not affiliated with either.

  • GESS Dubai

10–12 November 2026 · Dubai World Trade Centre

The region's largest education supplies and solutions exhibition, with a substantial CPD conference programme running alongside it. Go for the market; it is the best three days in the region for seeing what exists.

    Their site
  • Education 2.0 Conference

    8–10 December 2026 · Dubai

A global education conference with AI and innovation at its centre, plus an awards programme. International speakers, international audience.

    Their site

Ours is deliberately not either of those. It is one day, in this market, for the people running schools in it — small enough that a round table still works and specific enough that a principal from Al Quoz and one from Dubai Silicon Oasis leave with each other's number. The exhibition exists to serve that room, not the other way round.

The format

How we are planning it.

Everything here is a decision we have taken about the format, not a claim about an event that has happened. It is written down so that when the first edition runs, it can be held to it.

  • One day, not three

A single day a principal can give up in term time, timed away from the inspection and admissions crunch rather than into it.

  • A room, not a hall

Numbers capped at the point where a round table still functions. Attendance is by registration, and we would rather turn away volume than lose the conversation.

  • Sessions with a working outcome

Each session ends with something written down — a checklist, a model, a set of questions to take back. AI in classrooms, teacher retention, inspection readiness and affordable-fee operations are the four we are building the programme around.

  • An exhibition that earns its place

A curated floor rather than square metres sold to whoever pays. If a stand cannot answer a school's actual question, it does not need to be there.

  • Recognition, given carefully

Award criteria published before entries open, judged on evidence a school can point at. No categories invented to fit a sponsor.

Who can join

Who the room is for.

The invitation is open to the people who make decisions in and around a school. If you are one of them, register interest and we will come back to you with the date before it is advertised.

  • School managements and directors

The people who sign the budget and carry the licence.

  • Principals and vice principals

The ones who have to make the strategy survive a wet Tuesday.

  • Educators and academic leaders

Heads of department and curriculum leads, who will get the sessions with the most substance.

  • Education organisations and institutions

Groups, foundations, training bodies and universities working with schools in this market.

  • EdTech companies and solution providers

Welcome on the exhibition floor, on the condition that what you bring answers a school's question.

  • Sponsors and partners

A day like this costs money to run properly. Sponsorship is how it stays affordable for schools to attend.

Questions

Questions we are already being asked.

When and where is it?

Dubai, and that is as precise as we will be until a venue is contracted. There is no date on this page for exactly that reason. Register interest and you will have the date before it is advertised anywhere.

Is this something I am buying from Peace Education Services?

No. The summit is convened by us, and there will be sponsorship and exhibition packages because a day like this has real costs — but the room is not a sales floor for our thirteen services. If you want those, they have their own pages and their own quotations.

Who gets to speak?

Practitioners first. If you run a school in this market and something worked, tell us what and how you know. We would rather have a head of department with evidence than a keynote with a deck.

Can suppliers and institutions exhibit?

Yes, on a curated floor. Write to us with what you would bring and which question it answers for a school. We will say no to some of it, and say why.

Will the awards be open to any school?

Any school in the market, on criteria published before entries open, judged on evidence rather than on entry fees. If we cannot judge a category honestly in the first edition, it waits for the second.

Start the conversation

Tell us you want to be in the room.

Register interest, propose a session, ask about exhibiting or sponsoring — the same enquiry line handles all four, and a person answers it.
